Explore Beijing and then relax on the beach

Combine the bustling city of Beijing which is home to the Great Wall of China, the treasure-filled Forbidden City, the unique 15th century Temple of Heaven and Tiananmen Square, with a relaxing stay on Hainan Island. Like an exquisite green gem set in the blue South China Sea, Hainan Island is a bright tropical paradise unique in its character, diversity and enduring appeal. Long acclaimed for its pristine waters and unspoiled beaches.
Days 1-2 : UK – Beijing
Fly overnight to Beijing and transfer to your hotel.
Day 3 : Beijing
Enjoy a walk on the magnificent Great Wall which stretches over 3,000 miles to the Gobi Desert. Also visit the unique 15th century Temple of Heaven. (B,L)
Day 4 : Beijing
Sightseeing today includes a stroll through Tiananmen Square, past Chairman Mao’s Mausoleum to the treasure-filled Forbidden City, which has the largest and best preserved collection of ancient buildings in China. Also tour the Summer Palace. (B,L)
Day 5 : Beijing – Sanya
Fly to Sanya and transfer to your hotel at Yalong Bay. Enjoy the rest of the day at leisure. (B)
Days 6-9 : Sanya
Spend the next four days at leisure to enjoy the hotel facilities, stroll along the beautiful beach or further explore the Hainan Island. Visit the Tropical Wildlife Park which is home to the ‘Macaque’ monkey, experience the many water sports on offer such as snorkelling, water-skiing and para-sailing or play a round of golf. All activities are optional and paid locally. (B)
Days 10-11 : Sanya – UK
Transfer to Sanya Airport and fly overnight to the UK via Hong Kong, arriving home the following day filled with many happy memories. (B)
