Combine Beijing with the Tibetan Temple of China

Starting in Beijing, visit China's most famous attraction - the Great Wall, stroll through Tiananmen Square, visit the treasure-filled Forbidden City, tour the Summer Palace and explore the unique 15th century Temple of Heaven. Then take a scenic train ride to Chenge and visit the former imperial holiday resort of the Qing Dynasty, which features large parks with lakes, pagodas and palaces, ringed by a wall. Outside the wall are the Eight Outer Temples, built in varying architectural styles drawn from throughout China. The best-known of these is the Putuo Zongcheng Temple, built to resemble the Potala Palace in Lhasa, Tibet. The resort and outlying temples are now a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Day 1 : Arrive Beijing
Transfer from Beijing Airport to your hotel.
Day 2 : Beijing
Enjoy sightseeing at China’s most famous attraction - the Great Wall. (B,L)
Day 3 : Beijing
Tour the Summer Palace and the treasure-filled Forbidden City. After lunch, visit the unique 15th century unique Temple of Heaven. (B,L)
Day 4 : Beijing – Chengde
Board your train to Chengde and enjoy a scenic rail journey that passes a remote section of the Great Wall before arriving at the Summer Court of the Emperors. Visit the Summer Palace, built in the Qing Dynasty and covering 590 hectares. (L)
Day 5 : Chengde – Beijing
Visit two temples greatly influenced by the Tibetans and Mongolians, before returning to Beijing by train. (B,L)
Day 6 : Depart Beijing
Transfer from your hotel to Beijing Airport for your onward flight. (B)
