Visit the Bifengxia Panda Reserve, a large reserve complex in Sichuan Province outside the city of Ya'an. The Reserve is home to 16 Giant Pandas which were moved from Wolong Panda Reserve following the earthquake in May 2008. The Reserve is expected to be home to 40 Giant Pandas within the next 5 years.

Day 1 : Chengdu – Bifengxia

Transfer from your hotel in Chengdu to Ya An (approx 2 hours). Visit the Bifengxia Panda Reserve which is now home to 16 giant pandas, which were moved from the Wolong Panda Reserve following the earthquake in May 2008. The Bifengxia Panda Reserve is nine times larger than Wolong and will accommodate a total of 40 pandas within the next five years. Later, transfer to your hotel in Ya An. (L,D)
