Kunming & Lijiang

The gateway to the wonderfully diverse Yunnan Province, which is home to a mixture of lush rainforests, mountainous snow capped peaks and over 50% of China’s ethnic minorities. The city is also home to the Stone Forest with its impressive limestone columns. Also visit the Tiger Leaping Gorge in Lijiang.

Day 1 : Kunming

Transfer from the airport and check in to your hotel.

Day 2 : Kunming

Enjoy a full day tour of the picturesque Stone Forest where the huge limestone columns form surreal shapes and images. (B,L)

Day 3 : Kunming – Lijiang

Fly to Lijiang, a UNESCO world heritage site. Wander along the cobbled streets and see the meandering waterways of the Old Quarter. Also visit Black Dragon Pool. (B,L)

Day 4 : Tiger Leaping Gorge

Visit Tiger Leaping Gorge, one of the most dramatic and deepest gorges in the world and enjoy the surrounding breathtaking scenery. (B,L)

Day 5 : Depart Lijiang

Transfer to Lijiang Airport. (B)
