It's charming old quarter is a jumble of cobbled streets, rickety wooden buildings and romantic stone bridges that cross the towns many waterways, fed by the gurgling waters of the Jade River.

This extension is suitable for those who wish to visit Lijiang and Kunming, two of Yunnan’s most famous and iconic cities. As this is part of the luxury Exclusive Collection, this extension is suitable for the more discerning customer.
Make your way to Kunming. Upon arrival, you will be met by your local guide and transferred to your hotel. The rest of the day is at leisure.
Spend the morning meandering through the formations of the UNESCO-listed Stone Forest, where towering limestone pillars stand tree-like in a fascinating illusion of woodland. Later, return to Kunming. (B,L)
Fly to Lijiang, set in the foothills of the magnificent Jade Dragon Snow Mountain and visit the Black Dragon Pool, where there are wonderful views of the surrounding mountains. Later, return to Lijiang and explore the ancient quarter, where the cobbled streets are lined with traditional wooden buildings and rustic stone bridges. (B,L)
Journey to the 3,000 metre deep Tiger Leaping Gorge. With its backdrop of snow-capped mountains, it is one of China's most spectacular sights with spectacular and breathtaking views. Later, return to Lijiang. (B,L)
Your day is at leisure until the time comes to transfer to the airprot for your onward flight. (B)
