Mekong Delta Home Stay

A great opportunity to meet and stay with a family from the Mekong Delta. You will stay at a family home and see how their life is influenced by the Mekong River. Participate in cooking a local dish with the family and get a real taste of life on the Mekong.

Day 1 : Saigon – Mekong Delta (overnight)

Transfer from your hotel in Saigon to the Mekong Delta. Travel by various types of boats in and around Vinh Long Province, visit a family run coconut candy factory, a fruit orchard and enjoy a local music show and a feast of exotic fruits. Stay overnight at a local farmer’s house, and participate in cooking the evening meal. (L,D) Accommodation is dormitory style with basic camp beds. Western toilets, showers and mosquito nets are provided.

Day 2 : Mekong Delta – Saigon

After breakfast, continue exploring the Mekong Delta before returning to Saigon. (B,L)
