Experience a different side to Vietnam. The Northern town of Sapa is a world away from the coastal cities that make up the majority of Vietnam. Take in the stunning mountain views, see the extraordinary rice terraces, and visit minority tribes that live in the region.

Day 1 : Hanoi – Sapa

Transfer from your hotel in Hanoi to the railway station to board your overnight train to Lao Cai. Accommodation on the train will be on a shared basis in a four berth soft sleeper compartment.

Days 2-3 : Arrive Sapa

Arrive at Lao Cai station early in the morning and transfer to Sapa to commence your sightseeing. The town, surrounded by breathtaking mountain ranges and rice terraces is the home of many ethnic minorities. Over the next two days, we explore the markets, the different minority villages, spectacular valleys and fine examples of tribal architecture. There will be 5-6 hours of walking each day. (L,B,L)

Days 4-5 : Depart Sapa

Visit the village of Ta Phin before transferring to Lao Cai station to board your overnight train to Hanoi (B). Arrive in Hanoi early the following morning.
