The afternoon of Christmas Eve on this wonderful tour is spent enjoying the ultimate Christmas Eve tradition: a performance of the classic festive ballet, the Nutcracker
Danced to a live performance of the full Tchaikovsky score by the Scottish Ballet Orchestra, you’ll enjoy some of the best seats in the house as the Scottish Ballet company whisk you away to the charming world of Clara and her nutcracker prince.
With elaborate costumes, fanciful footwork and a truly lavish set, this classic fairy tale has been an iconic holiday tradition for more than 125 years, beloved by children and adults alike.
Whisky and Chocolate anyone?
We spend a delightful afternoon at the world-famous Aberfeldy Distillery, a whisky producer with a pedigree and heritage stretching back to 1846.
You’ll learn about the original Dewar family, who not only founded the distillery but were also the first company to popularize Scotch whisky to the wider world.
You’ll also get to try their award-winning produce for yourself with a paired whisky and chocolate tasting, an indulgent experience in which you’ll taste three fine Scotch whiskies, each expertly matched with an artisan single origin dark chocolate by local chocolate producer Charlotte Flowers.
Discover the Royal Yacht Britannia without the crowds
You’ll enjoy an exclusive private opening of the Britannia just for Wendy Wu guests.
Part royal residence, part functional navy vessel, this icon of the 20th century is one of the most famous ships in the world and voted the UK’s best visitor attraction by Which? Magazine . You’ll come aboard via the Queen’s entrance on the Royal Brow, where you’ll be welcomed with a glass of champagne before your private tour.
Cruise Loch Lomond
Scotland’s deepest loch. Loch Lomond in winter is a beautiful sight: an atmospheric display of snow-capped mountains, stunning waters and wonderful natural light.

On this tour you’ll stay at some of Scotland’s finest hotels, from elegant townhouses and rural mansions to luxury ships!
Launched in 1963, the Fingal spent a rugged working life supplying some of the most remote and far-flung lighthouses in Scotland. After retirement she underwent a £5 million transformation into a luxurious 23-cabin floating hotel that now also serves as the sister ship of the Royal Yacht Britannia.
Each of the luxuriously appointed cabins is named after a different lighthouse, in tribute to the Fingal’s service to Scotland’s seas.
Ahh the bonny bagpipes of…Poland, wait what?
Did you know there is a bagpipe playing tradition in countries as diverse as Poland, Spain, Hungary and Italy? You’ll learn all this and more on a visit to Glasgow’s fascinating National Piping Centre. (Patron HRH Prince Charles no less!)
On our Christmas in Scotland tour you’ll be welcomed to the centre by a bagpiper in full Highland dress, playing for your arrival before enjoying a talk on the history of bagpipes. You’ll even enjoy an opportunity to try and play the chanter (a part of the bagpipe) and full bagpipes yourself.
