After recently returning from her trip through Southern India, visiting Tamil Nadu and Kerala, Chloe reveals all\u2026<\/p>\n<p><strong>What took you to India this time?<\/strong><br \/>\n\u201cI visited India in search of some brilliant new destinations we could take our clients to in 2019\u201d Chloe explained. As a Wendy Wu Product Manager, Chloe knows how important it is to keep up to date with what\u2019s new so that we can provide the best possible experiences on our tours. Whilst away Chloe was able to take part in some of the potential new experiences, \u201cI really enjoyed visiting the Kumbalangi fishing village and mastering the techniques of the fishing trade such as making a rope from coconut husks. It was so exciting learning the local traditions and meeting the fishermen who rely on these skills every day.\u201d<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-5446\" src=\"https:\/\/www.wendywutours.co.uk\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/06\/munnarteaplantation.jpg\" alt=\"Chloe standing in the tea plantation\" width=\"4032\" height=\"3024\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.wendywutours.co.uk\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/06\/munnarteaplantation.jpg 4032w, https:\/\/www.wendywutours.co.uk\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/06\/munnarteaplantation-300x225.jpg 300w, https:\/\/www.wendywutours.co.uk\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/06\/munnarteaplantation-768x576.jpg 768w, https:\/\/www.wendywutours.co.uk\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/06\/munnarteaplantation-1024x768.jpg 1024w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 4032px) 100vw, 4032px\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>What was the food like?<\/strong><br \/>\nAlong with the incredible culture, beautiful temples and stunning scenery, the food in India is one of the top reasons to visit. \u201cEvery meal was as devourable as the last and packed full of flavour\u201d. Chloe gleams with excitement as she begins to find images on her phone of the different dishes she enjoyed. \u201cFor breakfast I had a Dosa with coconut and cinnamon which was a pancake style dish. It honestly tastes amazing, plus we got to watch the chef make it for us!\u201d. The images she shows exceed our expectations and we all wait to hear more. As she flicks through her pictures, an image crops up of a big green leaf with little mountains of different food on it. \u201cThis is a Banana Leaf Thali, I\u2019d never tried one before but it was delicious. The flavours in every little pile of food are just mind blowing!\u201d.<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-5441\" src=\"https:\/\/www.wendywutours.co.uk\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/06\/temples.jpg\" alt=\"Chloe in front of a temple\" width=\"1024\" height=\"1365\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.wendywutours.co.uk\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/06\/temples.jpg 1024w, https:\/\/www.wendywutours.co.uk\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/06\/temples-225x300.jpg 225w, https:\/\/www.wendywutours.co.uk\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2018\/06\/temples-768x1024.jpg 768w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px\" \/><\/p>\n<p><strong>Tell us two highlights of your trip?<\/strong><br \/>\n\u201cThere were just so many!\u201d Chloe chuckles, trying to whittle her answer down to just three. \u201cExploring the ancient rock carvings at Mahaballipuram has to be in the top three.
