Arrive at the airport by chauffeured transfer and fly overnight to Siem Reap. On arrival you will be accompanied by one of our experienced escorts to the hotel.
Start the day at Angkor Wat, the magnum opus of the Khmer Empire. Pass through the South Gateway of Angkor Thom to visit jungle-wreathed Ta Prohm and the enigmatic Bayon. Finish the day with a glass of champagne watching the sun go down over the temples of Angkor. (B,L,D)
In Highwater season visit Kampong Kleang floating village on Tonle Sap Lake to catch a glimpse of local life. In low water season visit a local community village to see the Knapor Senior High School Library Project. Continue on to Beng Melea, a temple lost in the jungle. (B,L)

This morning board a traditional riverboat made from native bamboo, wood and rattan and explore the waterways of the Mekong Delta, making stops along the way to provide glimpses of local life. (B,L)
Visit the Cu Chi tunnels, part of a network of excavations used by the Viet Cong during the Vietnam War. Stop at a local cricket farm on the way to the airport. Fly to Hoi An. (B,L)
This morning wander the old streets visiting the market, the Japanese Bridge and Quan Cong Temple before taking tea at the Reaching Out Tea House. This evening enjoy dinner whilst cruising along the river at sunset. (B,L,D)

Travel to Hue. Visit the Thien Mu Pagoda before a cruise along the Perfume River. Later visit workshop to , to learn about the art form of ‘Truc Chi’, paper made from bamboo pulp. (B,L)
Hue is dominated by its immense Imperial Citadel, home of emperors from 1802 to 1945. Take a walk around the Imperial Citadel before exploring Ming Mang Tomb and Thanh Tien Village where you will meet the local villagers and learn how to make your own ornate paper flower. Finally, visit Tha Om Garden House and its owner, Mr Vinh. Explore the traditional 19th century Hue residence and listen to Mr Vinh’s stories of his royal heritage. (B,L)
Fly to the bustling city of Hanoi and explore the Old Quarter. Later visit the home of a water puppet artist, the descendant of a family of water puppet performers to learn about the art and enjoy a private water puppet show. (B,L)

All of our tour departures include international flights and taxes in the price. If the dates we have available for this tour don't suit your needs, or you are not sure travelling as part of a group is for you, maybe a Private Tour would be more ideal.
A visa is required for entry into Cambodia. Standard visa processing service is included in your tour cost. We will require your passport, completed visa application forms, and 2 passport photos, taken within the last 6 months, to process your visas. We will require all this information 8 weeks prior to departure. As per our standard visa processing service, passports will usually be returned within 4 weeks of your tour’s scheduled departure. In rare cases you may be required to provide further information or documentation to the Cambodian Embassy; if this is the case we will notify you as soon as possible.
UK citizens will not need a visa to enter Vietnam for a single entry stay of up to 15 days. Entry visas for Vietnam are required for stays longer than 15 days or for multiple entries into Vietnam within a 30 day period. To allow for unforeseen circumstances if your tour includes a stay of 15 days or more in Vietnam the standard visa processing service is included in your tour cost.

Tipping is an expected element in the tourism industry today and Cambodia is no exception. We have established a tipping system whereby every passenger gives a set amount to the National Escort who will distribute the amount appropriately. On multi-country tips, this amount will be paid in stages on arrival in each country. If there is no National Escort, you will need to give your money to your Local Guides and tipping amounts for each city will be shown in your final itinerary. The amount is calculated for each tour. We will indicate the tipping amounts in your final documents for guidance.
Shopping can be a fun and entertaining component to any travel adventure. In keeping with most people’s interests whilst on holiday, your tour will include a reasonable number of opportunities to shop for local goods and souvenirs. We have included visits to establishments that not only provide an opportunity to purchase a locally produced, but you’ll witness first-hand how these local products are made, their history and how they support the economy. We are aware that people like to take home souvenirs, so we ensure the shops you visit have a reputation for quality, honesty, and authenticity.
The cost of all meals is included in your group tour cost. Breakfast is served in the hotel and usually includes western dishes. We aim to cater to the tastes of the majority of people and so the food is not too spicy or unusual in taste. Any food/diet requests MUST be specified at the time of booking and you should mention it again to the National Escort/ Local Guides when you meet them – they will do their utmost to cater for any special requests, such as vegetarian meals or food to be avoided in case of allergies.
