China and South East Asia
I still remember my first time in Southeast Asia; it was like discovering a whole new world. The sights, sounds, smells and people fascinated me so much that I have continued to travel in pursuit of its most remote areas for the past 15 years. My travelling highlights are the Ancient City of Ayutthaya near Bangkok and climbing the amazing Mount Pinatabu. I have been at Wendy Wu Tours for almost 10 years and I hope that my knowledge can help you to find the holiday of your dreams that you'll remember for years to come.
China, India, Dubai, Vietnam, Cambodia
I have been working in the travel industry for 16 years and with Wendy Wu Tours for 7 years, where I have been lucky enough to visit Vietnam, Cambodia, China and Dubai. I have a passion for travel. I have also travelled to other destinations such as Barbados, Florida, Miami, Mexico, Egypt, Jordan, European countries and cruises. My job role gives me the great pleasure to share my experiences and knowledge with others who also want to explore Asia and to enable them to also appreciate these beautiful destinations. Everyday at Wendy Wu Tours, I learn new things and face new challenges so that I am able to make a customer’s holiday, one to remember!
China and India
I have been working in the travel industry for 12 years and have travelled to some incredible places around the world and love to share my experiences. This is my 4th year working with Wendy Wu Tours and I been lucky enough to have travelled to China, India, Japan and Vietnam seeing two of the 7 Wonders of the World; The Great Wall of China and The Taj Mahal. My favourite memory of India was sitting at a rooftop bar and watching the sunset over the Taj Mahal – Amazing!
China, Cambodia and Vietnam
I started out working for my local travel agent doing a modern apprentice NVQ and worked my way up through the years and to different branches and ended up as a store manager. In my 18 years in travel I have been lucky enough to visit many countries Florida, Las Vegas, Turkey, Greece, Egypt, Tunisia, Spain, Italy are some of the few . After joining the team here at Wendy Wu Tours nearly 2 years ago my passion firmly lies in Asia and I have been lucky enough to travel to China, Cambodia, and Vietnam. Two of the highlights from my travels would have to be the cruise along the Li River in China and exploring Hoi An in Vietnam, but the list is much longer.

Tailormade to Malaysia, China, Hong Kong, Macau, Singapore, Vietnam and Cambodia
I have worked in travel, for 12 years, having started in my local travel agents at the age of 18. It’s here that I developed my passion for long haul destinations and tailor-made itineraries, I was then lucky enough to work for a long haul tailormade operator that really give me the taste for it. I then took a 1 year and a half out and travelled to Australia and New Zealand. On my return, Asia was next where I set my sights, going back to work for a tailormade travel company specialising in Asia was the prefect opportunity, this where I was lucky enough to travel to China for the first time, Malaysia, Singapore, Hong Kong, South Pacific (French Polynesia, Fiji and Cook Islands), Maldives, Caribbean (St Barts, Tobago, St Kitts & Nevis, Antigua, Barbados, and Anguilla) and Thailand. Since arriving at ASIA Inspirations at Wendy Wu Tours, I have been lucky enough to visit China again and most recently Vietnam and Cambodia. The thing I love about Asia is the diverse nature of the continent, whether it’s the scenery of Tiger Leaping gorge in Lijiang in China or whether its beach in Vietnam, it has something to suit everyone.

I've been lucky enough to explore many destinations throughout my long career, but traveling to Asia has opened up a new world unlike anything I've ever experienced, the diverse cultures of China and Asia as a whole are fascinating. To experience the Forbidden City, the Great Wall and the Terracotta Warriors Museum are truly unforgettable moments in life! We have a vastly experienced team here who want to help make your dreams come true, so that you too can experience the various traditions and profound experiences that have shaped our lives.
China, Vietnam, India, Thailand, Hong Kong and Cambodia,
Having spent the first 19 years of my life on the small mediterranean island of Malta, I was itching to explore some of the exotic countries around the world. Where better to start then a 3 month life changing trip to Japan following the ‘Tokai trail’ passing through temples on mountain summits, historical castles (including the 16th century Hachioji Castle) and finally culminating in the climb of Mt.Fuji, climbing 3776m and arriving at the summit at 5am in time to see an unforgettable sunrise. Little did I know when I set off that I would end up meeting my future wife half way up the sacred mountain. Since then I have spent 12 months in Australia and New Zealand, Hawaii, Fiji, 3 months in India, travelled extensively around Thailand, Indonesia, Hong Kong. Last year I returned to China and the memories of cruising down the narrow gorges on the Yangtze and looking up to see the 2000 year hanging coffins on the cliffs in the Three Gorges will remain with me forever. In mid 2015 I visited both Cambodia and Vietnam and saw a wonderful sunrise over Angkor Wat in Cambodia and an even more impressive sunset from Angkor Thom in Siem Riep. I loved Hoi An in Vietnam and cruising around Halong bay. The people are lovely and the food freshly prepared and such good value!!

I have two favourite places in China. The first being the fascinating city of Xian, from visiting the iconic terracotta warriors for the wow factor to spending an afternoon at leisure cycling the beautiful city wall – my stay here was very diverse! The other place I fell in love with was the beautiful town of Yangshuo, situated at the end of the Li River. A very typical Chinese town with an international feel and the most breath taking scenery.
China, South East Asia
‘Exploring, discovering & experiencing cultures & lifestyles around the Globe is a great gift that has been given to humankind’… my favourite quote. I believe my passion for travel was inherited from a distant relative ‘John Coombes’ able seaman & explorer of ‘Wrangle Island’ (arctic) 1852…the ‘Heroic Era’ of ‘Franklin’, ‘Scott’ & ‘Shakleton’. I have been fortunate and travelled to some amazing countries, I get to talk about some of these such as China day to day. My most memorable experience in China must be the Terracotta Warrior museum and the interesting history surrounding them dating back to the first Emperor of China ‘Chin’. For scenary I love Guilin & Yangshou, the Karst mountains surrounding the tranquil Li River is just breath taking….
