This NEW flight-inclusive 8-day cruise and beach break combines the best of all worlds; small-ship luxury river cruising, the cultural treasures of the Mekong River, and the island sands of some of Vietnam's best beaches. Your holiday break begins with a luxurious 3-night Mekong river cruise between Cambodia and Vietnam. Discover the sights and sounds of Mekong life as you cruise downriver, then enjoy a few private days at leisure on the glorious sands of Phu Quoc Island in the Gulf of Thailand.
Our brand new eco-friendly vessel, the Victoria Mekong, offers passengers a uniquely elegant small-ship experience, with passengers invited to make use of the onboard spa, library, games room, infinity pool and two bars. All 35 cabins have mini-safes, Wi-Fi access and private balconies.
Rates given are based on the main deck on the Victoria Mekong cruise and Mango Bay Resort in Phu Quoc. Should you wish to book an alternative hotel in Phu Quoc, add an extra night in Phnom Penh, choose a cabin on the upper deck, or spend longer on the beach, our reservations team will be happy to help. Depart the UK for your international overnight flight to Phnom Penh. Arrive in Phnom Penh, where you will board the Victoria Mekong at Sisowath Quay, close to Wat Phnom. Relax with a sundowner on deck in the evening and enjoy an Apsara dance performance before dinner.
Cruise to Vam Nao in the morning, enjoying activities such as cultural lectures or cocktail making sessions before lunch on board. This afternoon, tender ashore to Vam Nao to visit traditional local industries such as clay potters and local rice cake makers. Return to the ship for dinner, where the evening's entertainment will include a lion dance performance.
Continue downstream to Long Xuyen and disembark to visit the bustling floating market and a local museum. After lunch back onboard, arrive at Tan Loc Island, where you can visit the old house and a lush garden for tea and fruit – a taste of Mekong hospitality. Alternatively, visit a plum farm where plum wine is made, which you can taste. Sail on to Can Tho, a Mekong Delta city where the ship will dock. Enjoy traditional music of the Mekong while you sip a farewell cocktail and dinner.
Enjoy breakfast onboard and visit a local floating market by boat. Disembark and bid farewell to the Victoria Mekong, taking a short private transfer to Can Tho Airport for your hour-long flight to Phu Quoc. On arrival, a private transfer will take you to your hotel.
Today is at leisure for you to enjoy relaxing on the beach, sunbathing or reading beside the shore.
Another day at leisure. Enjoy more time on the beach or perhaps take the opportunity to enjoy independent exploration of the island. Phu Quoc is home to villages, temples, mountains, golf courses and an open air safari park.
Your private driver will collect you for your transfer to Phu Quoc International Airport for your onward journey.
