Wendy Wu Tours is the UK’s leading China specialist tour operator as well as a leading specialist tour operator to Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos and India.
We have been in operation as a tour operator since July 1998 from our Australian office and due to our success and rapid growth; the UK office was opened in 2004 and has grown from strength to strength. We have since developed a wide range of product visiting the well-known tourist attractions to the lesser-known charms to appeal to even the most varied of tastes.
With the continuous and effective formula of 'fully inclusive' tours each product has been carefully constructed to provide our clients with the very best each country has to offer, as well as a diversity of regions and attractions. As a specialist tour operator, we endeavor to not only provide our tour members with the 'must see' attractions in each country, but to constantly create innovative programs to previously unreachable areas ensuring our position at the forefront of the tourism boundaries, but more importantly servicing our clients' ongoing needs. A prime example of such programs is our Tibetan Dreams tour which saw Wendy Wu Tours escorting the first group in the western world to Lhasa, Tibet, via the most scenic overland route through China. The great success of this tour inspired the conception of another addition to the 'dreams' family, the Dreams of Nature, which focuses on China's pristine south western regions.
To complement our most popular tours we also seek to offer tours to the lesser visited but equally amazing parts of China. A prime example of this is the stunningly beautiful Nine Villages Valley in Sichuan province. We were proud to escort the BBC Holiday programme to this region in 2006 and received a phenomenal response from travelers wanting to see this hidden corner of China. Nine Villages Valley features on our Dreams of Nature, China Splendour and Land of the Panda group tours.
For those with a more adventurous spirit, itineraries like our Silk Road programs are perfectly suited. We are very proud of this particular program as we were the first tour operator to conduct tours along the original Silk Road route – which travels overland from Turpan to Kashgar. It is with great satisfaction that this tour continues to attract tour members and offers them a unique travel experience
Due to the rapid growth of our business and the increasing interest in Indochina, 2009 saw our UK office launch its first dedicated Indochina brochure. We are already experts in the region having operated our first tour to Vietnam over 10 years ago from our Australia office. Our Vietnam, Cambodia and Laos programs have grown from strength to strength and we offer tours from 10 to 28 days.
We also offer tours to India. Based on the same successful formula of 'fully inclusive' and 'best value tours with the best inclusions' we have developed several tours covering all the major attractions in India and many lesser known ones as well.
