British Airways


Ideal for leisure travel, British Airways offers an extensive schedule to a wide range of worldwide destinations, flying to centrally located airports. British Airways offer a choice of check-in options including online check-in from the comfort of your own home, check-in kiosks or dedicated check-in desks at the airport.

Connecting flights to Heathrow from Aberdeen, Edinburgh, Glasgow, Manchester, Newcastle and Belfast are available at a supplement.

Audio Visual on Demand (AVOD)
With seat-back screens, the in-flight entertainment system offers over 200 movies, TV channels, audio and game channels (games not available on World Traveller), so that you can watch what you want, when you want.

Emirates aim to provide the most comfortable, relaxing environment for travellers, excellent service and superior technology.

Emirates offers double daily flights to Beijing, Shanghai and Hong Kong via Dubai and departs the UK from Heathrow, Gatwick, Birmingham, Newcastle, Manchester and Glasgow. On many of our tours, regional departures carry no supplement (subject to availability), which has become very popular with our passengers!

Please note that some Emirates flights return from China overnight, which may add an extra day to your tour.

In-Flight Entertainment
The “ice” in-flight entertainment system features more than 600 channels on seatback screens, including over 140 on-demand movies, 70 TV channels, 350 audio channels and 50 games to keep you busy during your flight. You can also keep in touch by SMS, phone and email.

Cathay Pacific


Cathay Pacific flies from Heathrow to its hub at Hong Kong four times a day and onwards to over 120 destinations worldwide. Together with Dragonair, it is the largest airline and flag carrier in Hong Kong – and therefore the perfect destination to take advantage of the endless shopping opportunities to or on your way back from China and Vietnam.

Virgin Atlantic


Celebrating 25 years, Virgin Atlantic is the UK’s second largest long-haul airline, flying to 30 destinations worldwide including North America, the Caribbean, Africa, the Middle East, Asia and Australia.

For convenience, passengers can check-in online and even print their boarding card from the Virgin Atlantic website or from a dedicated Virgin Atlantic check-in desk at the airport.

With a business strategy focusing on efficiency and effectiveness, Virgin Atlantic has won a number of awards including ‘Best Business Class and Premium Economy’ in 2007 and ‘Best Long-Haul Airline’ in 2008 and 2009.
