Experience Northern Vietnam, explore the cultural city of Hanoi by cyclo and cruise the stunning islands of Halong Bay by traditional junk boat.

Day 1 : Arrive Hanoi

Transfer from the Hanoi Airport to your hotel.

Day 2 : Hanoi

Enjoy a full day of sightseeing around Hanoi visiting Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum (closed Sep-Dec), Stilt House and Museum, One Pillar Pagoda, Temple of Literature, Tran Quoc Pagoda and the Ethnology Museum. You will also enjoy a drive around Hoan Kiem Lake and a cyclo tour of the Old Quarter. (B,L)

Days 3-4 : Halong Bay Junk Cruise (overnight)

Transfer from your hotel in Hanoi and drive to Halong Bay, the ‘Jewel in the Crown’ of Vietnam. Relax and enjoy seafood meals onboard and stay overnight on the traditionally designed junk boat (B,L,D). Continue cruising between the nearby islands the following morning before returning to Hanoi, driving through the striking rural countryside of the Red River Delta. (B,L) An alternative itinerary with a Halong Bay day cruise is available on request.

Day 5 : Depart Hanoi

Transfer to Hanoi Airport for your onward flight. (B)
