Indochina travel information

All of the hotels used by Wendy Wu Tours in Indochina are of three-star standard, but may not have all western amenities. The hotels are selected for their comfort, convenience of location and character and are subject to change. In the main destinations we regularly use a range of similar hotels and a selection is described below. In remote areas, accommodation may be of a lower standard. Hotels on our Classical Vietnam and Flavours of Vietnam tours are of four and five star standard.

	Saigon, Lan Lan II
	The recently refurbished Lan Lan I and Lan Lan II are situated in the business district and close to Ben Thanh Market. The hotel features a restaurant, bar, fitness centre and currency exchange facilities. All rooms are equipped with air-conditioning, satellite TV, telephone and a safe deposit box.
	Hanoi, The Platinum 2 Hotel
	The Platinum 2 Hotel is located in the heart of downtown Hanoi and close to the markets and West Lake. The hotel features a restaurant, bar, a business centre as well as currency exchange facilities. The rooms are equipped with air-conditioning, satellite TV, tea/coffee making facilities, telephone, mini-bar and a safe deposit box.
	Hue, The Park View Hotel
	The Park View Hotel is located in the heart of Hue and is close to the Imperial Citadel and the Royal Tombs. Facilities include a restaurant, bar, outdoor swimming pool, fitness centre and a spa. All the rooms are fully-equipped with air-conditioning, satellite TV, tea/coffee making facilities, telephone, mini-bar, hairdryer and a safe deposit box.
	Hoi An, The Van Loi
	The Van Loi is located within the Old Town of Hoi An. Facilities include a restaurant, bar, outside swimming pool, beauty salon and a business centre. The 82 rooms feature air-conditioning, satellite TV, tea/coffee making facilities, telephone, mini-bar and a hairdryer.
	Nha Trang, The Que Huong Hotel
	The Que Huong Hotel is located in the heart of Vietnam on one of Nha Trang’s most picturesque and romantic streets, Tran Phu Boulevard and within a short distance of the beach. The hotel features a restaurant and an outdoor swimming pool. There are 56 rooms all featuring air-conditioning, tea/coffee making facilities, mini-bar, hairdryer and refrigerator.
	Dalat, Hoang Anh Resort
	Hoang Anh Resort Dalat covers five hectares of gardens and alpine forest near Xuan Huong Lake. Facilities at the resort include four restaurants, 24 hour room service, fitness centre, steam bath, sauna, jacuzzi, heated swimming pool and a tennis court. There are 250 rooms all with air-conditioning, satellite TV, tea/coffee making facilities, mini-bar, hairdryer, telephone, a safe deposit box and a private balcony and views of the surrounding landscape.
	Sapa, The Royal Sapa Hotel
	The Royal Sapa Hotel is located just 100m from Sapa market and overlooks the Sapa Valley. The hotel offers a restaurant and cafe, safe deposit box at reception and foreign currency exchange. All 27 rooms are fitted with TV, telephone and a balcony with views over the valley.
	Junk Boat, Halong Bay
	With its golden sails, polished woodwork and refined traditional Asian decor, the Hai Long Junk Boats offer an unforgettable ambiance of relaxed elegance. Facilities onboard include a dining room serving fresh seafood, lounge bar, beauty room and a sun deck. For our tours that feature an overnight stay, all cabins feature airconditioning, twin beds, TV, telephone and a mini-bar.
	CAMBODIA
	Phnom Penh, Castle Hotel
	Hotel Castle is located in the heart of Phnom Penh and is in the vicinity of Tonle Sap and the Mekong River. Hotel facilities include a restaurant, lounge bar, outdoor swimming pool and a business centre. The rooms are well-equipped with air-conditioning, satellite TV, telephone, tea/coffee making facilities, mini-bar, hairdryer and a safe deposit box.
	Siem Reap, Angkor Holiday Hotel
	Conveniently situated in the heart of Siem Reap, the Angkor Holiday Hotel is within walking distance of the local shops, bars and restaurants. Hotel facilities include a restaurant, lounge bar, outdoor swimming pool and a fitness centre with sauna and spa as well as a business centre. 	Sihanoukville, The Seaside Hotel
	Located close to the beachfront and town centre, facilities at the Seaside Hotel include a restaurant, bar, cafe and business centre. The 83 rooms feature air-conditioning, satellite TV, telephone and a mini-bar.
	LAOS
	Vientiane, Hotel Don Chan Palace
	Hotel Don Chan Palace is the first good quality international hotel in the capital city of Vientiane. It is strategically located along the Mekong River within easy reach of major cultural sites and markets. All rooms also offer panoramic views of the city or the Mekong River.
	Luang Prabang, The Mouang Luang Hotel
	The Mouang Luang Hotel is a small, comfortable hotel and facilities include a restaurant, coffee shop, swimming pool and laundry facilities. Its spacious lobby is tastefully decorated in traditional Lao style. The hotel is located in a quiet area just 500 metres from the city centre, entertainment and shopping district. The hotel has 35 rooms and features mini-bar and telephone.
	Luang Prabang, The Namsok Hotel
	The Namsok Hotel is a small beautiful family-run hotel located within walking distance to restaurants, shops and local attractions including the many Buddhist Temples. All of the rooms are equipped with air-conditioning and a mini-bar.
	Vientiane, The Sabaidee @ Lao Hotel
	The Sabaidee @ Lao Hotel combines traditional and classical interior with modern elegance and is situated in the heart of the city centre. 	Vang Vieng, The Elephant Crossing Hotel
	The Elephant Crossing Hotel is a new boutique-style hotel situated on the banks of Nam Song River and boasts stunning views of the surrounding majestic mountains. Hotel facilities include a lovely riverside restaurant and a bar. Beautifully decorated in traditional Lao design, all of the 31 well-equipped rooms feature air-conditioning, ceiling fan, TV, free Wi-Fi and a private balcony with river and mountain views.
