This was our first tour and we were extremely impressed by the organisation and the standards. The size of our group (19) was not overwhelming and allowed us to get to know our fellow travellers well. Our guide Jason was absolutely outstanding at his job. He was caring and knowledgeable with a good sense of humour, which added to the experience. 

The booking process was excellent. We booked our trip at the Destinations travel show and despite the stand being busy our adviser Keith was very knowledgeable, helpful, and patient. We were able to book the whole trip, including flights upgrades and options all in one visit.
We have subsequently received email confirmation which matches exactly what we understood we had booked.
Hopefully the holiday itself will be as good as the services we have received up until now.

I contacted Wendy Wu Tours on 30/01/26 to enquire about information on maybe booking a holiday? Before i knew what was happening, the holiday was booked & paid in full!!! Flights, transfers, hotels, meals and visa all included!!! It may well be in the small print somewhere ~ but no mention that i couldn’t cancel without incurring a 30% cancellation fee the moment my call ended 🤬🤬. I received an email on 02/02/26 informing me that i need to sort my own visa!!!!!! I rang Wendy Wu tours asking for help with regards to the visa (as i don’t have access to a computer and printer) and the response from Lucy “well if you want to cancel it is in the small print in the brochure”!!!!!!!
So three days after booking i am now told that i could cancel and lose 30% of my money paid ~ just 3 days later and the ever so sympathetic (NOT!!!!!), Lucy can only tell me it’s “in the small print”!!!! After reading the letter again; Dear “name” thanks for booking, “WE WILL BE WITH YOU EVERY STEP OF THE WAY”!!!! I am certainly not happy 😡 with this behaviour and had i known beforehand about their behaviour, i definitely wouldn’t have booked a holiday through this company!!!!!!! Sorting out my visa application is a nightmare, made worse by my lack of a computer and my lack of confidence, but knowing that they are there “every step of the way” ~ that’s a joke, i could end up being out of pocket by hundreds and hundreds of pounds 🤬😡🤬😡

Could not be more helpful. We booked through Dedtinations. The lady at the desk was great at providing us with info. After some thought, we opted to book and were sorted by Chris (Friday show). Although he was selling us a holiday, he was very very helpful; funny without being over the top. I had to speak to a lady in the office to give personal details. She was also excellent too. Altogether it was an excellent experience and i would recommend Wendy Wu to others

The travel agents were knowledgeable, easy to communicate with, and nothing but pleasant and polite and did their utmost to get us the best deal.

Warm welcome when I approached the stand. Once I explained what I wanted I was introduced to Kieth who listened to my requirements showed me the brochure for China. I agreed the tour I wanted and he explained the costs and dates available. Once this was set I explained that I wanted to travel business class and he contacted Matt who provided the costs and times of travel. In a very shirt while I had the date and time of travel plus the type of travel that I wanted. All the above made for a good experience and met my needs hence my agreed booking.

I was pleased with the service I received when initially booking my forthcoming holiday. However, when I telephoned subsequently to enquire about upgrading my flights, the WW rep automatically assumed I was looking to upgrade to First Class (which I would have done had the price not been so extortionate!) I later went online to see if the airline had a Premium Economy cabin (which it does) and subsequently booked seats in this cabin. However, it would have been good if the rep had advised me of this fact during my initial booking rather than me having to undertake my own research.
Additionally, it would be great if a booking agent's name could be appended to any email confirmations etc, so that one has a name to ask for as opposed to the rather impersonal use of a booking reference.

We made an inquiry about a trip to China in 2027. The agent was able to detail all the information needed and answer all the questions we had regarding the trip we were interested in. The agent was able to book the trip, we put down the deposit and completed all our details very efficiently.
