I've also taken your feedback on board about the mixed hotels and meals, that's not the consistent experience we want you to have, so I'll make sure the team looks into this. And I take your point about value for money, especially when you've paid a fair amount. The idea of adding an extra excursion or two above the standard itinerary is a really good one; I'll pass that on.

On the shrine front… yes, I can see how a few too many early on might feel a bit repetitive! We'll bear that in mind too when planning future Japan tours.

I'm delighted you had a fantastic experience overall, and that your guide and group made it so enjoyable. That's what we hope for.

A couple of things you mentioned are especially helpful. First, on the blossom chasing, I completely understand the frustration. You're right that we can't guarantee nature, but I take your point about flexibility. We'll have a think about whether there's a little more we could build in around the edges for keen photographers, even when the timing is uncertain.

On the evenings, it's good feedback about hotel bars and drink prices. Not much we can change there, but it's fair warning for others, so thank you.

On the activity level , I really appreciate you raising this. Just to clarify for anyone reading, our Level 1 description in the brochure doesn't say "easy". It says: "A reasonable level of fitness is required and you should expect to be on your feet for much of the day. You'll be getting on and off coaches, trains or boats and walking around the sights, often including steps, plus occasional longer walks." We also encourage everyone to download the full tour dossier. That said, if you found it more demanding than expected, then we clearly need to make the description even clearer so I'll feed that back to the team.

Overall, I'm really glad you still had a fantastic experience. And well done on making the most of that free afternoon in Tokyo for your blossom photos.

On the Muslim restaurant, yes, I can see why that would catch you off guard if you were hoping for a beer or glass of wine. The choice would have been about the venue or location rather than the food, which you're right, was similar to others, but we should probably flag that sort of thing in advance. Sorry that wasn't made clearer.

And the translucent bathroom walls… oh dear. That's definitely not ideal when you're not a couple! I'll pass that one back to our product team that's a fair point and something we can ask about when choosing properties.
