Lots of coach travel without comfort stops. No time for rest and relaxation. Saw loads and did various things. Hotels lovely, food choice excellent but a bitbig down time would have been much appreciated.

Amazing holiday with so many special moments! Visited the major temples and archaeological sights plus local villages and beautiful places such as Kandy. Nuwara Ellia was fabulous for Christmas with blazing fires, Santa Claus and a feast. The trip finished with New Year in Colombo, the most incredible array of food and a birdseye view of the fireworks. Can’t recommend highly enough.

The whole experience was fantastic aided by our wonderful guide Mr Lathif. The itinerary was absolutely terrific with adequate free time for shopping and browsing. The driver was also extremely skilled and negotiated some ‘impossible’ locations to get his passengers close to hotel doors, etc.
The safari drives were excellent as was the train ride.
The Sri Lankan people are so helpful, kind and welcoming. The food ain’t bad either!!!

A great tour that was well organised with fantastic local guide. We had a few issues / confusion arranging additional nights at the start/end of the tour to align with flights we had arrange ourselves, but resolved OK. The coach journey’s from Yala to Galle and Galle to Colombo were very long days and a few of the “experiences” on them possibly not highlights. We would also say the tour is very hectic and advise anyone doing this trip to add a few days rest & relaxation by the pool / beach on to the end.

Sri Lanka is a beautiful country with kind and welcoming people. My tour with WendyWu included many iconic sites and wonderful experiences. It was a packed itinerary which is something I particularly like when touring. The food throughout was excellent as were the hotels we stayed in. The National Guide was extremely knowledgeable and fun to be with. I couldn't fault the tour.

I did the highlights of Sri Lanka and it’s a beautiful country.This tour is just too packed we went on a very boring 5 hour train journey to the tea plantations arriving in the dark and leaving again in the dark the next day very early in the morning so 5 hours each way to see nothing.
Our guide and driver were fantastic but the group was 27 it’s too big we ate every meal for 16 days as lukewarm buffets apart from one picnic on the train..In general the food was poor.
Sri Lanka is an amazing place but pick a tour with a more relaxed pace and better food.

Sri Lanka is a fascinating country, full of history, geography and nature. Going there is to be recommended. However, the itinerary of this tour needs a little “tweaking”.The first few days are quite intense and given the heat and humidity it is tiring. For example, we climbed Sigiriya rock in the afternoon of our first full day, after a. 4 hour coach trip from Negombo. Perversely, the pace slackens toward the end of the tour, just as you are feeling capable of doing more. Our itinerary included one night up at the tea plantations- which was a ridiculously short stay after the train ride up from Kandy.

We were warned that the hotels are not necessarily of an international standard but some definitely are 🙂 whilst others definitely are not ☹️.
