The trip was well organised and led. The guide Jeremy was very knowledgeable, caring and considerate of individual needs. His driver and assistant was helpful and supportive. The itinerary gave us a good taste of Sri Lanka both its culture and nature. The hotels and meals were of a high standard and well chosen by Wendy Wu. Very enjoyable.

Having previously travelled with one of your tours I had high expectations

Sadly these were not fulfilled - probably because I received the impression that he actual tour delivery had been subcontracted to a local travel agent?

Product :

Although collected at airport was just Taxi to hotel - no information about dinner or when tour would have first group meeting or when courier would appear

Too many Budhist temples - what about Hindu and Moslem

Poorly constructed daily deviations to routes which meant extra bus travel
Consistent uncertainty about what we were doing at what point in the day

Safari very disappointing - 4 landrovers drove same trail one behind the other. Those in first one got good pictures and excellent experience
Those in last one ended up stopping and starting sitting in diesel exhaust fumes as others took pictures of things long gone by the time we got there
Why couldn't jeeps overtake each other and provide balanced opportunity or better yet travel a little apart?

Food consistently same buffet choice with little variation / delivery of local nuances
Too little time in Galle
Courier not good presenter - also hard to hear at back of bus although kept telling him
Didn't tell us what to expect ahead of time so couldn't plan adequately what to wear / what to carry
Think he had problems with strong female characters
