From the sky-scraping peaks of the Himalayas, Nepal tumbles down the mountains, where yaks and Sherpas are king, to the lush and steamy plains of the Terai, where tigers and rhinos roam free.

Sandwiched between Tibet and India, the country is best known for its pristine mountain views, but it has so much more to offer. Its culture is best experienced amongst the pilgrim-filled old stupas and monasteries that dot the country, some in the most spectacular locations, and the medieval Durbar squares of the old capitals of the Kathmandu Valley.

Nature though does reign supreme here, with incredible wildlife spotting opportunities in the lowlands and the ever watchful snow-capped peaks of the mountains always on the horizon.
