Noordam has been sailing Holland America guests to some of the world's most remarkable destinations since 2006. Part of the Vista class - four ships named after compass points in Dutch - she carries up to 1,972 guests, making her noticeably more intimate than the line's newest vessels. Most recently refreshed in 2024, with updated cabins, a refurbished spa and Starlink internet installed throughout.

On board, the emphasis is on space, service and a relaxed pace that gives you time to enjoy the journey as much as the destination.

DINING

The Vista Restaurant is Noordam's main dining room, a two-deck space at the stern of the ship serving breakfast, lunch and dinner daily. Dinner offers a choice of fixed sittings or open Any Time dining from early evening. For specialty dining, the Pinnacle Grill serves seafood and steak, while Canaletto offers Italian cooking at dinner. The Lido Restaurant provides a buffet for all three meals, and the Terrace Grill keeps things casual poolside. Room service runs around the clock throughout the voyage.

ENTERTAINMENT

The Vista Lounge is the ship's main show venue, hosting productions, guest entertainers and BBC Earth screenings. The Music Walk brings B.B. King's Blues Club, Billboard Onboard and Lincoln Center Stage together for live music most evenings. The Explorer's Lounge hosts classical concerts and quieter performances, and the Crow's Nest bar at the top of the ship offers sweeping panoramic views by day and a livelier atmosphere after dark. The Culinary Arts Centre runs cooking demonstrations and workshops throughout the voyage, and afternoon tea is served daily.

RELAXATION & WELLNESS

Three swimming pools, including a Lido Pool with retractable glass roof and an adults-only Sea View Pool. Five outdoor hot tubs, Greenhouse Spa and Salon, fitness centre, casino and a pickleball court. The Explorations Café doubles as the ship's library and coffee bar — one of the more popular spots on board for a quiet hour at sea.

Crow's Nest Bar

Perched at the top of the ship with sweeping forward-facing views, the Crow's Nest is one of the best spots on board for a drink at sea. Relaxed by day for puzzles and games, and a more social atmosphere as the evening gets going.

Ocean Bar

The main atrium bar, centrally located and a natural gathering point throughout the day. Live music most evenings and a small dancefloor make it one of the livelier spots on board after dinner.

Lido Bar

The poolside bar, serving drinks throughout the day alongside the Lido Pool. A casual spot for something cold between swims, with the retractable glass roof keeping things comfortable whatever the weather.

Sea View Bar

Located beside the adults-only Sea View Pool, this open-air bar is a quieter alternative for an afternoon drink with an uninterrupted view of the ocean.

Tamarind Bar

The bar attached to the Tamarind restaurant, serving cocktails and drinks with an Asian influence. A good pre-dinner option on evenings when you're dining at Tamarind.

Entertainment & Revitalisation

World Stage

The ship's main theatre, spanning two decks with a 270-degree panoramic LED screen. Home to nightly productions, comedy, guest performers and the BBC Earth in Concert experience - wildlife footage from around the world set to a live orchestra.

Rolling Stone Lounge

A dedicated live music venue working through five decades of classic rock, every evening. Expect a full band, a proper dancefloor and a setlist drawn straight from the Rolling Stone archive.

Billboard Online

A more intimate setting for live music, where a duo of musicians plays through the chart hits of the last 50 years. A relaxed way to spend an evening, with something for everyone in the playlist.

Casino

A full casino with slot machines, blackjack, roulette and poker tables. Open most evenings at sea, with instruction available for anyone new to the games.

Art Studio

Daily creative sessions led by onboard instructors, covering painting, drawing, crafting and more. Open to all abilities - a good option for sea days.
