Wendy Wu Tours – Modern Slavery and Human Trafficking Statement

This statement is made pursuant to section 54 of the UK Modern Slavery Act 2015 and outlines the steps Wendy Wu Tours has taken and is committed to taking to prevent modern slavery and human trafficking in our business operations and supply chains.

  1. Our Business

Wendy Wu Tours is a leading tour operator specialising in guided group and tailor-made travel experiences across Asia, Latin America, and other regions. Operating in the UK, Australia, New Zealand, and international markets, we deliver fully inclusive packages supported by a network of local suppliers.

  1. Our Commitment

We are committed to upholding the principles of human dignity, equality, and fairness. We do not tolerate modern slavery or human trafficking in any part of our business or supply chain. We are taking steps to embed policies and practices that reflect our commitment to ethical operations.

  1. Our Supply Chain

Our supply chain includes international suppliers providing services such as transportation, accommodation, guiding, and ground operations. We recognise that certain markets and sectors present a higher risk of unethical labour practices.

We are reviewing ways to strengthen our due diligence processes, including:

  • Adding anti-slavery clauses into new supplier contracts.
  • Mapping our supplier base to assess risk exposure.
  • Introducing a supplier code of conduct.
  1. Policies and Governance

To support our commitment to ethical business conduct, we have established and are developing the following:

  • Internal Code of Conduct – outlining expectations for staff integrity and behaviour.
  • Whistleblowing Policy – enabling confidential reporting of concerns.
  • Procurement Controls – to support ethical and responsible sourcing.
  1. Awareness and Culture

We aim to foster a culture of responsibility and transparency throughout the organisation. This includes building awareness of modern slavery risks among staff, particularly those involved in procurement, operations, and supplier engagement.

  1. Next Steps

In the coming year, our focus will include:

  • Mapping our supply chain and identifying high-risk areas.
  • Launching a supplier code of conduct.
  • Enhancing internal policies and procedures to support compliance.
  • Establishing mechanisms for monitoring and reviewing supplier practices.
  1. Board Approval

This statement was approved by the Board of Directors of Wendy Wu Tours and will be reviewed and updated annually.
