Our Tour: Excellent

We've come home exhausted from a truly fabulous trip around Cambodia and Vietnam and feel that we've seen pretty much everything these beautiful countries have to offer. The tour guides/managers, Vutha and Hoang, were both fantastic and extremely knowledgeable, all the hotels were excellent and the food all very good, if a bit repetitive and too plentiful at lunchtimes. A very busy full-on tour with very little relaxation time, but everything ran like clockwork and we were never kept waiting long for the coach or food or anything, which allowed us to see so many lovely things in the short time we were there.

‘Around Cambodia’ This was an excellent tour giving insight to Cambodia’s past and present. The itinerary was very well organised, involving visits to temples and sites of interest, plus visiting and learning the processes of producing pepper, pottery and rice paper, to name a few. With a sunset cruise, cocktails at sky bars, cycle and tuk tuk rides all organised for us, we were a very fortunate group of tourists.
The hotels were all extremely comfortable with very good facilities and friendly staff. The restaurants for lunches and dinners were very well chosen, I do not think we could have found such wonderful places ourselves.
Our kind and thoughtful guide Vuttha Dam, aka Ta and driver Kea helped to make this a most memorable holiday.

Our Tour: Excellent

Our first trip with Wendy Wu and we were not disappointed. Cambodia is a beautiful country with plenty to offer. Our tour of the country started in Siem Reap and finished in Phonm Penh taking in the many ancient sights, exploring the countryside and cusine along the way.
The tour was brilliantly organised and we were lucky to have a fantastic guide and driver who made sure everyone got the most from the trip.

Around Cambodia was my third Wendy Wu tour and I wasn’t disappointed. The guide was very informative and kept us busy on a daily basis, the food on the whole was amazing and being shown the history of this beautiful country was enjoyable start to finish. I struggled with the heat, not use to warm weather being from Uk 😊 but all the hotels were of high standard and had air con. Already recommended to friends and family to visit. Hopefully another tour will become possible seeing more of Cambodia soon.

The holiday included an eclectic mix of activities - all of which were expertly covered by a good friendly tour guide. Hotel accommodation was of a high standard. Time was set aside for leisure. Organisation was first class.

Well organised, varied tour. Hotels and restaurants were excellent. We travelled in a luxury air conditioned coach with a skilled and careful driver. The tour guide Mr Vuttha Dam was first class, spoke excellent English, coping well with UK and Australian accents and dialects. He was kind, considerate and very knowledgeable. Giving factual information as well as personal experience of growing up and living in Cambodia.

Tour guide was amazing. Very knowledgeable and couldn't do enough to help.

Good itinerary although some long drives on poor roads to see very little. Sihanoukville is a building site and lots of noise by the hotel so not the relaxing beautiful beach day expected although I appreciate Wendy wu have no control over this

The tour was very well organised, the hotels were excellent and the food was very good.
We had an amazing tour guide, Vuttha, who had a fantastic knowledge of the country and made sure that we were able to enjoy every aspect of the tour. He was supported by a brilliant driver who transported us to all parts of the country in a very safe manner.
The tour provided a great balance of the major tourist sites together with the chance to see local people running their businesses and glimpsing how they lived.
We we joined by a brilliant group of 13 other travellers who were great company and added massively to the enjoyment of the tour.

I enjoyed the Around Cambodia tour and this was invariable due to our excellent tour guide (Bunvath Tes), His knowledge, enthusiasm and compassion really made this a memorable first visit to Cambodia.

I found the service pre-tour from Wendy Wu a bit lacklustre though. For example being booked on a flight to Hong Kong, 6 hours ahead then fly back to Phnom Pehn 5 hours ahead a bit of a pain (why not offer flights to Singapore or Bangkok)? Would have paid extra for business class but this didn’t seem to be an option and was not offered.

Our local tour guide was fantastic, so knowledgeable and welcoming, full of enthusiasm and humour too for our whole group, nothing was too much trouble at any time. The Cambodia tour covered everything we wanted and more, our guide showed us the old and new side to this amazing country. We recommend Wendu Wu from this experience everytime.
