I expected an action packed holiday but the majority of our time was spent travelling between Ger camps.
Some of the itinerary was not included in the tour, very little chance to meet with local artisans or local markets as promised. Two whole afternoons in the Gobi desert were spent without any itinerary and very little activity in the mornings.
Shared bathroom facilities in the basic her camp were actually communal shower blocks and toilets.
The visit to see the takhi horses was a bit of a let down as they could only be viewed through binoculars, most cameras were not sophisticated enough to take photographs.
I paid £140 for an early hotel check in and discovered other clients had not paid but were able to have an early check in. When I asked for a refund from Wendy Wu they did their best to avoid the refund but finally gave me the story that at the last minute before departure the operations team had decided no fee was payable and I could therefore have my refund. Strange that it took me 1 phone call and 3 emails to get satisfaction.
Therefore with regret I would not recommend either the company nor the holiday.
