Brilliant holiday with great guides, both National and local, also the drivers were really good. The hotels were well situated and of a very good standard and of course the boat on the Yangtze was a wonderful experience!! Our group of 22 became great friends and write to each other regularly with happy memories of our trip with Wendy Wu.

By the way, our original Guide, Betty had an accident on the second day. The coach driver took her to hospital and stayed by her.side until 3:00 in the morning. Now that is devotion to duty!!

Sales representative was able to book the trip we wanted. She showed good knowledge of the trip and additional options and was v friendly.

We have wanted to visit and see China for many years. Wendy Wu's Majestic Yangtze fitted the bill, it was an escorted tour, it covered some of the major cities of China and took us to the must-see sites such as the great pandas, the terracotta warriors and the Great Wall. Our tour guide, Jackie, was knowledgeable and took care of us throughout the trip. We thoroughly enjoyed it.

My experience of this particular tour was hugely disappointing. BUT, as my 2 previous Tours with Wendy Wu were superb, faultless, and this one could have been excellent I would recommend it to others, sort of.
Our tour was Shanghai to Beijing. It would have been far better the other way round. There were 27 of us, far too many for a rather poor set of guides to manage. The food was bland and westernised, the meals chaotic and rushed. Too many changes to the itinerary I booked for with no apparent reason, way too much wasted time in shops, and little time at the places we really wanted to explore. Our guides were really not good either at organising such a large group, or giving us accurate and informative guiding. I feel sorry for a group that gets them on a more specialised tour such as a Silk Road tour, as frankly they knew very little, and most of that was wrong. This could be a great introduction to China trip. We booked extra days before and after the tour, so did get a chance to eat well, explore, and actually visit some museums and and see real modern city life. It wasn't a waste of our time therefor, and the logistics and support from Wendy Wu remains as good as ever.
I still love Wendy Wu. And will use again.

Active holiday in many iconic, so busy, locations. Great hotels, wonderful - plentiful food. Lovely scenic boat cruise and interesting excursions en route.

Excellent service, very knowledgeable about country and tour. Arranged flight upgrade and seating . I visited China way back in 1979 when it was still the china I wanted to visit. It will be interesting to see the vast changes.

I have already recommended a friend to Wendy Wu, mainly because of your agent Cheryl who was excellent and was not pushy ! I would definitely want to engage with Cheryl in the future.
