This was a very comprehensive, non-stop tour of the region. From the Thar desert to cities like Jaipur, Jodhpur and New Delhi, I visited palaces, stately homes, temples and forts - I even stayed in a 300 year old fort and several Heritage hotels.
Many unique experiences were had. The highlights for me were visiting the Taj Mahal and seeing tigers up close in Ranthambore National Park, as well as celebrating Holi.
However, I found the food to be bland and repetitive which was unexpected in the land of curries. Lentil curry, paneer curry and butter chicken featured at almost every meal.

The splendor of Rajasthan is expansively illustrated by this tour.
The itinerary of this tour was very well thought out, with sites/sights including havelis, palaces, forts and temples, which in some well restored cases, were slept in, which really enhances the experience. The busy itinerary left enough spare time for shopping for all but the fanatics.
After Rajasthan we went on jeep safaris into Ranthambore, and saw tigers on both of them.
Then Agra with its splendid fort and the magnificent Taj Mahal
Our tour manager/guide was very passionate about his country and gave great talks on aspects of the lives of normal Indians, while we drove from site to site in a comfortable air-conditioned coach.
This was a very well organised tour with every detail covered, even to the point of providing us with discardable clothing to protect us while we had our own Holi experience, since the Hindu festival of Holi fell within the time-frame of my particular tour dates.

Great tour with very knowledgeable guide. Four stars as room at Tulip Hotel at Gurgaon was grotty. Have reprted this to Go India on feedback form. Given the cost of the tour I felt as regards this particular hotel they could have done better. Tips were organised in advance but in the 11 years since I last visited India I found that hotel porters and toilet attendants were generally expecting tips routinely on top of that.

Our first trip with Wendy Wu and we can’t wait for the next one! This was an excellent tour of Ragasthan, visiting wonderful temples, palaces and forts, as well as showing us many different aspects of life for people in this part of India. Accommodation was excellent throughout, ranging from luxury tents in the desert, to beautiful hotels, some converted from old former palaces. Coach travel was comfortable ( air conditioning, plentiful water available, frequent toilet and refreshment stops) and our guide was brilliant with his wide-ranging knowledge and amusing anecdotes.
We would highly recommend this trip to other travellers keen to explore this part of India. Well done Wendy Wu🏆

We experienced a wide variety of places from Desert( Rode on Camels) to Cities(Lots of Palaces and Forts) to Wildlife (Saw a Tiger up close.) All were very good. The downside was the the lengthy coach trips, sometimes 7/8 hours a day. Very tiring and not much to look at. The Hotels were excellent except for Tulip Suites, Gurgaon ( Rooms need a refurb) and Ramada, Jaipur, (Food was very poor). Vishal, our guide was excellent. Went more than the extra mile to help and inform. Food generally was OK and plentiful (mostly buffets), mainly vegetarian, (only meat was chicken), but became a bit monotomous. Its a pretty full on tour but you see and experience a lot of the real India.

Fantastic holiday, great tour guide (Mr B). Overall good hotels and food. Very good flights with Virgin, recommend the upgrade as it is a long time in the sky. Coach transport throughout the three weeks was in a fully a/c modern vehicle with drivers mate keeping us well supplied with water etc.
If you wanted a relaxing break, this holiday is not for you but if you want to experience all India has to offer, sights, sounds, smells and everything else, GO!!

Our guide Vish was amazing. He took excellent care of us and frequently went above and beyond what was expected in order to give us the best and most authentic experience. In addition to the well known tourist attractions our tour included many off the beaten track places which gave us a feel of the real India.
My only minor criticism/suggestion for future tours would be to factor in a little more free time to allow guests to catch their breath/enjoy a relaxing few hours. I understand that Wendy Wu wants guests to experience as much of the country as possible in a limited time but the full on nature can be exhausting at times

Amazing country to visit and the tour gave us so many memories. We travelled by coach, train, boat, tuk tuk and even had a camel ride. The highlight of the trip was seeing a tiger in the wild. Would recommend Wendy Wu tours

The tour package was packed with experiences and wonderful historical sites to visit. Hotels were outstanding and food was amazing. Would liked to have stayed longer. A superb package.

Well organised and value for money. However, could improve on the selection of hotels. In particular the Indra Vila’s, Alsisar should be replaced as should the Park Delhi, both of which were in my view not fit for purpose.

An excellent holiday greatly enhanced by the local representative, Mr "M. K" Jain (form 'Go India').His obvious pride in India and his desire to enable the group to share his knowledge of history, culture and foods. He also exhibited great care for group members, especially those who were unwell.
Some of the road trips meant lengthy travel and, possibly, future travellers might be reminded of the need for warm clothing for early starts, evenings and time in the desert camp. Finally, the paperwork recommended a 15 kg flight luggage allowance in India although this trip did not have any internal flights - causing some confusion.
Overall experience was of a wonderful holiday in a fascinating country. My third Wendy Wu experience.

An interesting tour of north west India guided by an excellent tour guide who was extremely knowledgable of the area. The selection of hotels were very comfortable, ranging from palaces to international hotels. The various cities provided an overview of Indian lifestyle.
