I was quoted £5490 for Wendy Wu Tibetian Railroad for my booking UKQ978392 but wChinese New Year discount so why was this discount not applied to me? Her quote from Cheryl Johnson UKQ986232 on the same 22/5/26 to 07/07/26 is identical journey to mine!
Why should I be paying £1000 more when booked through Arti Coles?

I’ve looked into your booking in detail, and I can confirm that the Chinese New Year discount of £1,000 has been fully applied to your trip, exactly the same as the customer you’ve mentioned. The difference in the final price comes from two separate factors that apply only to your booking:
✅ 1. Single Traveller Supplement (£1,040)
As you’re travelling solo, a single‑room supplement is required. This ensures you have a private room throughout your journey.
✅ 2. Premium Economy Flight Upgrade
You’ve also chosen to travel in premium economy, which carries an additional supplement compared to standard economy flights.
Once these two elements are factored in, the pricing matches correctly for your travel dates, itinerary, and booking conditions. The core tour cost — including the £1,000 Chinese New Year reduction — is consistent with other customers travelling on the same trip.

I hope this clears things up and reassures you that you’ve received the same discount and benefits as other passengers.

Our Tour: Excellent

A great tour, everyone enjoyed it. And everyone worked as a team. We had our up,s and down,s , and coped with the train journey, and looked forward to our trip to Lhasa and Tibet. All accomodation was good, with a few hick-up.s over faulty rooms. But all sorted by the Tour Guide, who has done us proud. The tour was a bit challenging for the older folk, but we all managed to see an amazing amount of things. The highlight being Mt Everest and in awe of what we were seeing! The food was very good, as was the Local Tour Guides who showed us around. In all, very good.
The other Wendy groups that we bumped into were struggling after flying into Lhasa and not being aclimatised for touring!
But for me, a good trip.
