Arrive at Hong Kong International Airport where you’ll be collected by a driver to start your explorations. Today you'll cross part of the Hong Kong – Zhuhai – Macao Bridge, the world’s longest sea crossing, to see the sights of Zhuhai, a city on the banks of the Pearl River Delta. Stop for a wander in the charming Jingshan Park, admire the Opera House and hear the story behind the Zhuhai Fisher Girl.
Continue across the bridge to spend a day discovering the sights of Macao. A Portuguese colony for 300 years, Macao is a fusion of a fascinating culture mix and over-the-top glitz; it is even nicknamed the 'Vegas of China'. Today you'll explore a bit of history and a bit of modern, visiting the ruins of the Church of St Paul, one of the city's oldest temples A-Ma, Fisherman's Wharf and the iconic Parisian Tower. Return to Zhuhai
Depart Zhuhai and travel to the city of Foshan. A hub of culture, the city is considered the home of Cantonese opera, Nanquan, a martial art, and lion dancing. You'll spend your time here experiencing these traditions, as well as learning about Lingnan, a significant cultural force in the region. Head out of the city and into the breathtaking landscapes of Gulong Gorge. Admire views over the canyon, mountains, subtropical jungle and rushing waterfalls as you step out onto the thrilling 'Gulong Gorge Cloud Sky Glass Ba', a series of high-altitude glass walkways, the reflective glass platform known as the Sky Mirror, a glass suspension bridge and the Suspended Corridor. Return to Guangzhou, where you will experience the wonders of the spectacular Sunac Circus.
Explore the sights in and around the city of Shenzhen, starting at the fascinating Dafen Village, a settlement that is almost entirely dedicated to painting. It's characterful narrow lanes and alleyways are lined with art studios and shops full of hand-painted oil paintings, from reproduction Van Gogh's to made-to-order pop art. Continue to Gankeng Ancient Town, where you can experience traditional Hakka culture, cuisine and architecture. Then, in the city itself, wander through Huaqiangbei, one of the world's largest electronics markets, and visit the Splendid China Folk Village.
