Make your way to Harbin airport or railway station where will be met by your local guide and transferred to your hotel. Early check-in is not included. The rest of the day is at leisure to relax and prepare for the magical Harbin Ice and Snow Festival. Running from December to February, it is the world's largest ice and snow festival.
Head to the popular Ice and Snow World, to wander among the illuminated full-size buildings built entirely of ice and astounding snow and ice sculptures. Later, tour the city centre, filled with grand European-style buildings, including Central Avenue and Sophia Cathedral.
Visit the Shong Hua River, where you can observe ice water swimming, ice windsurfing and other winter activities. Then, head across to Sun Island, to see the enormous snow sculptures set in its landscaped grounds. Later, mingle with people from all over the world at the Ice Lantern Festival, to admire more spectacular ice carvings brought to life through beautiful illuminations.
Your day is at leisure until the time comes to transfer to the airport or railway station for your onward journey. Late check-out is not included.
