'Create Your Dream Tour' - Competition Terms & Conditions

All information detailing how to enter this competition forms part of these terms and conditions. It is a condition of entry that all rules are accepted as final and that the competitor agrees to abide by these rules.

Timing: This competition closes on 31 January 2019.

Who may enter: This competition is open to residents of the UK aged 18 years or over, except for employees of Wendy Wu Tours, their families or anyone else associated with this competition.

How to enter: Entrants must create and submit their Create Your Dream Tour itinerary via the Create Your Dream Tour webpage by midnight 31^st December 2018. Any entries received after the closing date (for whatever reason) will be invalid.
All individuals who submit a Create Your Dream Tour itinerary will be entered into the prize draw unless they choose not to. To opt out of the competition, email marketing@wendywutours.co.uk

The prize -
Ground arrangements: The prize comprises a 14-day tailormade itinerary as close as is reasonably possibly to the itinerary the winner created, for 2 adults aged 18 years and older. This includes airport transfers in destination (not in the UK), accommodation in 3-4* hotels on a bed & breakfast basis, and touring with the services of a guide. All other expenses, including tipping, are to be paid for by the winner. For the avoidance of doubt the winner is responsible for organising, and the costs of, travel insurance and any necessary visas. The winner and their guest must have valid passports with at least 6 months left to run following the date of travel. 
Flights: Return economy flights (upgrades available at own expense) from London Heathrow, London Gatwick, Manchester, Edinburgh or Belfast for 2 adults aged 18 years and older are also part of the prize package. Wendy Wu Tours reserves the right to choose the airline who provides the winner’s flights.

Prize restrictions: The prize is subject to availability, is non-transferable and there is no cash alternative. Travel must be completed within 12 months of the prize draw closing date. Date restrictions may apply including Christmas, Easter and summer holidays. The prize package must be taken as a whole, flights, hotels and touring cannot be redeemed separately. The winner and their guest must travel together on the same flight to the prize destination and stay in the same hotels on a twin share basis (doubles available on request).

Drawing & winner notification: Wendy Wu Tours will select one winner at random from the eligible entries received up until midnight 31^st December 2018. The decision of the judges is final, and no correspondence will be entered into. The winner will be announced via the Wendy Wu Tours Facebook page (‘wendywuofficial’) within 10 calendars days of the closing date. The winner will also be notified by email to the address provided by the entrant. The winner must respond to the email notification within seven days of the time the notice is sent in order to claim the prize. No responsibility can be accepted for entries that are lost or delayed, or which are not received for any reason.

Publicity: In accepting the prize, the winner agrees that Wendy Wu Tours can use his/her name and image in any manner we deem fit in publicity material relating to the prize draw.

Personal information: Any personal data relating to the winner, or any other entrants, will be used solely in accordance with current UK data protection legislation, and will not be disclosed to a third party without the entrant’s prior consent. The information you provide will be used in conjunction with our Privacy Policy

Limitations of Liability: Wendy Wu Tours will not be liable for any loss (including, without limitation, indirect, special or consequential loss or loss of profits), expense or damage which is suffered or sustained (whether or not arising from any person’s negligence) in connection with this promotion or accepting or using the prize/gift, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law (including personal injury, death and fraud) in which case that liability is limited to the minimum allowable by law.

Wendy Wu Tours reserves the right to cancel or amend the prize draw, and these terms and conditions, without notice, in the event of a catastrophe, war, civil, or military disturbance, act of God, or any actual or anticipated breach of any applicable law or regulation, or any other event outside of the promoter’s control. Any changes to the prize draw will be notified to entrants as soon as possible by Wendy Wu Tours. Wendy Wu Tours will take reasonable steps to avoid disappointing participants.

The prize draw, and these terms and conditions, will be governed by English law, and any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England, unless you live in another part of the United Kingdom, in which case your local courts will have jurisdiction.
