Close

A beach resort on the Caribbean coast, Bocas Del Toro is one of Panama’s most beautiful areas. So beautiful in fact, that when Christopher Colombus cruised by in 1502, he promptly named a couple of islands (Colon and Cristobal) and a bay (Almirante) after himself. Encompassing a paradisiacal archipelago, Bocas exudes a relaxed Caribbean vibe, the colourful clapboard housing only adding to the languid atmosphere. As well as plenty of crystal clear seas and swaying palms, the Bocas area is also home to coral reefs, mangroves and tropical forest, which are all there to explore if you can drag yourself off of the perfect beaches!
