After I booked I got no confirmation invoice so had to ring them and they took 3 months to reply to emails. So their admin department needs to
Improve. When I booked the holiday I was told the transfer from hotel to boat was 4 hours it turned out to be 7 hours with a lunch stop in a squashed mini bus. I was the only person in the group that was charged £280.00 flight supplement. I rang the airline in question and they had never heard of a flight supplement, so why was I charged this I booked 11 months before departure. The cabins were excellent and service. Breakfast was the best meal. Lunch and dinner no choice just a set meal. The evening dessert none of us liked so we all asked for ice cream which was given but reluctantly. All excursions were interesting and right amount of time off the boat due to the temperature. On leaving the boat after the cruise had finished and driven to the airport, lunch was included at one of Wendy Wu’s hotels but lunch at 10.30 in the morning!!
The hotel that we stayed at on the island was good and right on the beach, but evening service in the restaurant was shocking 2 hours for 2 courses and we were the only people in the restaurant. There were only 7 people who had booked for this cruise when the boat held approximately 70 guests. I am really not sure whether I would use this company again.

An awful lot of travelling but, sad to say, South Korea just doesn’t have enough to make it worthwhile. Vietnam, Cambodia and India offer so much more to the traveller. However, fair play to Wendy Wu for offering this holiday. Not many companies do.
Unimpressed with the administration. Had to chase for final documents 10 days before departure and was told it would be emailed that day with hard copy to follow. Email duly arrived but hard copy sent to the address of my next of kin. No one waiting for me on arrival in Seoul and had to wait twenty minutes for the driver to show up.
I followed a competitor’s tour which I had considered but chose Wendy Wu because of the inclusion of DMZ visit. Competitor routed passengers London to Frankfurt and then 12..5 hours to Seoul. Much better for sleeping than 8 hours to Dubai and then another 8 hours after stopover.
Local guide gave long winded information and was difficult to understand so I tended to lose the thread.
Food generally edible but unexciting. Best meals were in Chinese and Japanese restaurants. Local restaurants generally unprepossessing.

I have attended a few of the Wendy Wu online travel shows, which are always very inspiring and informative, and give the opportunity to have my questions answered. I decided to take advantage of the new China brochure launch offers to book an escorted tour, and found Arti to be extremely helpful in comparing and contrasting the tours I had shortlisted and checking prices for a range of options. I have now booked and am very much looking forward to my Magnificent China Tour, with Dubai Stopover.

This was an amazing experience from start to finish.
Booking was easy, with super friendly and professional staff who were more than willing to help us with extra flights for a 2 week trip before we joined the cruise.
The Victoria Meekong boat was impressive………new, modern and impeccably spotless with every need catered for. The cabins were extremely spacious with a small private balcony to relax and enjoy the scenery en route.
The crew were so friendly, always happy and smiling, going above and beyond to ensure our every need was catered for.
The food was delicious with breakfast, lunch and dinner included everyday in the package. It was a mix of Western and Asian cuisine and there was definitely no chance of ever going hungry! Hot drinks, soft beverages and beer were available at no extra cost throughout the day and also wine during lunch and dinner.
There were excursions most days ( morning and afternoon) which were entirely optional. As, it was 40 degrees throughout our cruise, we chose to just do one per day as it was completely exhausting in the heat. Instead we took advantage to recharge and relax on the sun loungers, dipping in and out of the pool to cool off.
If I had to be super critical of one aspect of the cruise ( and it did not in the least affect our enjoyment of the holiday!), was that some of the excursions did not meet our expectations. Too many similar experiences and duplications ( temple visits and silk making for example). Also, the floating market was a disappointment and did not look like the picture advertised on the website.
Finally, the Tour Guides we had for both Vietnam and Cambodia were brilliant. Great characters, full of life, funny and extremely knowledgable.
A great trip and wonderful memories made!

Our trip was fantastic. The cabin was very clean and spacious, the food of a high quality and the service was exceptional. The guides who took us out worked very hard to ensure we had a great experience and I would thoroughly recommend the river cruise to anyone who wants to see the real Vietnam and Cambodia, but not have to worry about arranging it independently.

Victoria Mekong ship is beautiful. The crew are wonderful with very friendly and helpful staff. Cabins are excellent with plenty of storage space - important for 7 days. The food was good with lots of choice. There are plenty of excursions with activities offshore every morning and afternoon. We could have done with more relaxation time looking back but of course you don't have to go on the trips and can stay onboard and relax by the pool with a drink if you prefer.

Really good value for money. Hoffman, our guide made the tour even better through his willingness to go out of his way to provide information, plan things effectively and ensure our welfare.
All hotels were reasonable given different Chinese expectations although Marco Polo hotel in Dubai was a little tired, out of the way and had a very noisy night club

Service rating :

Excellent organisation both during the booking process and on tour. Very knowledgeable staff in the office and on tour. They really look after you and make your holiday one to treasure. Their experience in this market really shows.

I would have liked to have the choice of included excursion, eg to see traditional Dubai or modern Dubai. Unfortunately I did not have time to see both.

Wendy Woo tours delivered everything we expected from arranging pick up from home and chauffeur transport to and from and our stop off in Dubai and in China but also the provision of excellent 5* hotels in China all supported by our wonderful national guide Ivy. The tour was well paced and the additional extra such as a lecture at the terracotta army, access to the archeologists at the Hangyangling mausoleum, dumpling making and many others made the tour special.
Our national guide Ivy looked after everyones needs and made sure everyone was happy with the pace.

We filled out a online enquiry form and then we were emailed by a consultant. We were very confused with the brochure. The brochure made adding a dubai stopover look very simple and inexpensive, but when we suggested this to consultant it got complicated and meant rearranging flights with an addition approx £800 cost each in addition to hotel cost. We then decided to go with jan offer of a free business flight upgrade one way. When we looked online it stated our tour package would be eligible but on speaking to consultant it would be an extra £199 each. Within a few days the website had changed to state from £199 but again very confusing and misleading. We were also not told of this charge and it was included as a "flight supplement" and on further questioning it was explained it was the business upgrade. We got so frustrated that we ended up just booking the plain package as any slight change/stopover/offer always had a hidden charge or complication. We are excited for our holiday but the process seemed very complicated and misleading.
