Fly overnight to Delhi, India's capital.
Sightseeing today begins with a visit to the Red Fort and a walk through Chandni Chowk Bazaar to Jama Masjid, India's largest mosque. We have a brief stop at India Gate and Parliament House. We also visit Gandhi Smriti, where Gandhi was assassinated, and Qutab Minar.
Fly to Varanasi. This evening take a rickshaw to the ghats of the River Ganges to witness the Puja ceremony of Ganga Aarti.
Take an early morning boat ride along the River Ganges, followed by a brief city tour of Varanasi. Later this afternoon visit the Buddhist sites at Sarnath.
Fly to Khajuraho. Tour the Western groups of Temples. This evening enjoy a cultural dance performance.
Depart for Jhansi, stopping in Orchha en route. In Jhansi board the Shatabdi Express train to Agra arriving later in the evening.
This morning explore the impressive Agra Fort and Sadar Bazaar. Your afternoon is at leisure.

View the Taj Mahal in all its glory as the sun rises. Drive to Bharatpur, visiting the fortified ghost city of Fatehpur Sikri, and board the train to Ranthambore National Park.

View the Taj Mahal in all its glory as the sun rises. Travel by road to Bharatpur, visiting the fortified ghost city of Fatehpur Sikri. Return to Bharatpur overnight
January to May: Ranthambore
Enjoy morning and afternoon canter safaris around the park.
September to December: Bharatpur
Visit Keoladeo National Park for a morning rickshaw safari, and visit a nearby village.
January to May: Ranthambore to Jaipur
Enjoy a canter safari this morning before departing Ranthambore and driving to Jaipur. This afternoon, shop at the local bazaar in Choti Choper, located inside the walled city.
September to December: Bharatpur to Jaipur
Drive to Jaipur. This afternoon, shop at the local bazaar in Choti Choper, located inside the walled city.
Start with a photo stop this morning at Hawa Mahal (Palace of the Winds) before visiting Amer Fort. Later this afternoon visit the City Palace, a handicraft centre and Jantar Mantar. Watch a traditional dance performance while enjoying dinner this evening.
Transfer to Jodhpur by road this morning. On arrival you will be transferred to your hotel where the remainder of your afternoon is at leisure.
This morning visit Mehrangarh Fort, Jaswant Thada and the museum located in the Umaid Bhawan Palace. Take an auto rickshaw to a local restaurant for lunch followed by a walking tour through Subzi Mandi, the local vegetable and spice market.
Drive to Udaipur, a city of lakes, palaces and temples. Stop to visit the Jain temple complex of Ranakpur en route. The City Palace of Udaipur is still home to Maharana Udai Singh’s descendants who remain rulers of this independent state.
Visit Sahelion Ki Bari Gardens, the Folk Museum and Mewar Art Gallery. This afternoon explore the magnificent City Palace and wander through the local shops. This afternoon relax on a cruise along Lake Pichola.
Transfer to the airport early this morning to board our flight to Delhi. Upon arrival transfer to the hotel where the remainder of the day is at leisure.

Tipping is an expected element in the tourism industry today and Bhutan is no exception. We have established a tipping system whereby every passenger gives a set amount to the National Escort who will distribute the amount appropriately. On multi-country tips, this amount will be paid in stages on arrival in each country. If there is no National Escort, you will need to give your money to your Local Guides and tipping amounts for each city will be shown in your final itinerary. The amount is calculated for each tour. We will indicate the tipping amounts in your final documents for guidance.
Shopping can be a fun and entertaining component to any travel adventure. In keeping with most people’s interests whilst on holiday, your tour will include a reasonable number of opportunities to shop for local goods and souvenirs. We have included visits to establishments that not only provide an opportunity to purchase a locally produced, but you’ll witness first-hand how these local products are made, their history and how they support the economy. We are aware that people like to take home souvenirs, so we ensure the shops you visit have a reputation for quality, honesty, and authenticity.
The cost of all meals is included in your group tour cost. Breakfast is served in the hotel and usually includes western dishes. We aim to cater to the tastes of the majority of people and so the food is not too spicy or unusual in taste. Any food/diet requests MUST be specified at the time of booking and you should mention it again to the National Escort/ Local Guides when you meet them – they will do their utmost to cater for any special requests, such as vegetarian meals or food to be avoided in case of allergies.
