Tour Itinerary

This extension is suitable for those who wish to visit the <a href="/india/kerala">Kerala</a> Backwaters. You will spend overnight throughout the extension on a traditional Kettuvalam houseboat. This is a private tour and all meals are included for your convenience.

  • Day 1
    Kochi to Alleppey
    Day 1 Kochi to Alleppey

    On arrival at Kochi Airport, you will be met and transferred to Alleppey where you will board your Kettuvallam. These houseboats are converted from traditional rice barges. Cruise through the sleepy backwaters, enjoying authentic Keralan cuisine whilst relaxing on board. (L,D)

  • Day 2
    Kerala Backwater Cruise
    Day 2 Kerala Backwater Cruise

    Continue cruising through Kerala's backwaters. You will see small villages, temples, schools and witness the lifestyle of people living on the riverbanks. (B,L,D)

  • Day 3
    Alleppey to Kochi
    Day 3 Alleppey to Kochi

    Disembark your houseboat at Alleppey before transferring back to Kochi Airport where your arrangements end. (B)
