Great guides.
Met Sandra at the Destinations event in Manchester and it felt like we had met a long lost friend, so warm and helpful.
I then decided I wanted to change my flights, this was done with ease by Lucy at their customer service department, and she provided exactly what we wanted.

I enjoyed the holiday, it was very interesting, but our luggage was delayed and we had to go to the airport to collect it. Our guide was not helpful or interested in our predicament. What we know now about Turkish Airlines and Istanbul Airport I think Wendy Wu should not have booked connecting flights with so little time in between.
Our guide was very knowledgeable but not very forthcoming with information.

The tour included everything I wished to see, including destinations most other companies don't visit. Fully inclusive.

A fascinating part of the world to explore and learn about the Silk Road.
An extra day in Tashkent would have added to our experience .

Absolutely fantastic trip with superior local guide. Hotels were great as were restaurants chosen. It was a packed itinerary and schedule fulfilled. The addition of Nukus and the amazing Savitsky art museum was the cherry on the cake.
Why I gave it 4 stars? I was not met at Tashkent airport and experienced great stress and anxiety. Nine of the other travel agents meeting groups had heard of Wendy Wu (it is known as Caravan tours over there) and had it not been for some very kind local travel agents awaiting their people who phoned Khurshid, our guide, and seemed not to know about me and had already started the tour at the money changers, I would have missed out on that afternoon tour. Wendy Wu office had booked this flight for me months ago, telling me other group members would be on it but this was not trus as others had arrived earlier. I should have been given lunch and had to starve all day until dinner. Very disappointing start to my holiday but luckily things improved after this.

I enjoyed the holiday overall. I didn’t like the day in the desert. The climb to the forts was pretty gruelling.
The food was not varied enough for me and I would have like to have been given a menu and to choose my own food. It was ordered for us by our tour guide. He did consult us but the choices he gave us were very limited.

Extremely helpful assistant but wrong info given on time elapsing between arrival in Tashkent and beginning of afternoon tour. I was led to believe I had the rest of the day till dinner to rest in my hotel room. Otherwise all fine.

Polite, informative, very helpful. Enabled me to book one of my 'bucket lists' trips. Didn't give it 5 stars because I have yet to travel.

Wendy Wu always go above and beyond but little did I realise how I would need their customer service. Towards the end of the tour I became very unwell and needed surgery. I was in a country that was totally alien to me with little or no common language. Wendy Wu went above and beyond, helping my husband and I in a very difficult situation. I cannot express enough my gratitude to the local tourist agency, Inessa is a star.

Visiting the Silk Road was like a lifelong dream and with the blink of eyes my wish had come true exploring one of the hidden gem of Central Asia - Uzbekistan

What I was expecting was a bumpy ride in the middle of the Deserts and Mountains along the Silk Road but this turned out to be as smooth as SILK - a memorable trip of a lifetime beyond my imagination and which exceeded all my expectations!

It was an absolutely excellent experience with memories that will last a lifetime. It was a fantastic, well organised and seamless tour made exceptional by the hard work of a dedicated team. Wendy Wu's Team were magnificent in planning an amazing tour culminating in my safe return home. The Travel Consultants are friendly, knowledgeable and very professional in portraying it's Owner Wendy Wu's passion, enthusiasm and offering a unique travel experiences.

The detailed itineraries were a wonderful mix of must see sites and unexpected experiences such as crossing the ancient cities and towns rich in Islamic Architectures, Archaeological, historical and cultural excursions and littered with free time to absorb the most of these fascinating destinations.

The Hotels were of high quality standards and unique in its own ways!

What can I say about the Culinary experiences - Throughout the Tour we experienced and enjoyed varieties of breakfasts at the Hotels, Lunches and Dinners with the Locals enjoying their delicious homemade Uzbecki food & flavours with exceptional, humble and considerate hospitality especially being a vegetarian like me, I felt I was really well looked after.

Our Local guide Marat was very professional with excellent historical knowledge, fantastic customer services, always eager to help at every step of the journey and with great sense of humour. Marat was always happy to answer my " Million dollar" questions without hesitations, with positive attitude and always had a good focus and attention to details no matter how minute this may appear at all stages of the journey - be it Hotel check in, comfort breaks dietary requirements to endless lists of the fellow travellers!

Our Driver was very friendly and made us feel welcoming and at home ensuring the safest Driving experience ever through landscapes, deserts and rugged mountains.

A fantastic guide and support office workers. Lots of differing sites to visit and a great selection of food
