Adding a stopover to your holiday is the perfect way to make your trip even more memorable. You get to explore more of the world, maybe get an extra in-depth experience of a particular region, or simply break up a long journey with a bit of extra discovery or relaxation en route.
With so many exciting combinations to choose from, we’re bound to have the ideal stopover to add a little extra thrill to your adventure.
Why book a stopover?
There are so many reasons to book a stopover! It breaks up a long journey, allows you to explore an extra destination as part of your holiday, gives you time to relax and unwind after a grand adventure, and lets you explore more of the world, especially if you are flying long haul and would like to see more of a far flung region.
The best part? It won’t add an extra cost onto your airline ticket and all stopovers can be added as a ready to go package or tailored for you – you can choose the number of nights, the standard of hotel, what touring you would like and so on.
How does it work?
When you embark on a tour with Wendy Wu Tours, you will often have a choice of airlines to fly with. Your options will depend on what airport in the UK you want to fly from, and where you are flying to, and those boring but important logistical things like schedules.
With those airline choices comes the possibility of stopovers! Most airlines will allow you to stop off en route to your final destination in their hub city for no extra charge before carrying on your journey. That means you can have a few days in hub cities like Dubai (flying Emirates), Hong Kong (flying Cathay Pacific) or Kuala Lumpur (flying Malaysia Airlines), giving you that mini holiday within your big holiday vibe.
So, when it comes to booking your tour and you are given your flight options, make sure you ask what city you’ll be flying via to see if it’s somewhere that you’d love to explore!
