Tour Itinerary

This extension is suitable for those who wish to visit two of the top destinations and cities in China: Beijing and Xian. This extension is private and therefore not all meals are included, which gives you the opportunity to occasionally select your own dining venue, allowing you to immerse further into Chinese culture.

    On arrival in Beijing Daxing Airport, Beijing Capital Airport or Beijing railway station, you will be met and transferred to your hotel. Enjoy the remainder of your day at leisure.

    Discover Beijing
    Day 2 Discover Beijing

    Start your sightseeing at Beijing's symbolic heart, Tiananmen Square, followed by the treasure-filled Forbidden City where you will pass under the famous portrait of Chairman Mao as you enter through the main gate. Enjoy a relaxing afternoon exploring the idyllic gardens of the Summer Palace before sampling the delicious local speciality, Peking Duck, this evening.

    The Great Wall

    This morning is dedicated to China's most iconic sight - the Great Wall. Taking a walk on this incredible structure is the best way to appreciate both the wall itself and the stunning scenery that it crosses. This afternoon visit the Ming Tombs and the Sacred Way.

    Start today's explorations with a visit to China's most renowned Buddhist Temple outside of Tibet, the Lama Temple. Later, soak up the harmonious ambience of the Temple of Heaven, an orderly oasis in a bustling urban landscape.

    Enjoy some time at leisure in Beijing before your 5-hour bullet train to the illustrious and age-old city of Xian.

    Terracotta Warriors
    Day 6 Terracotta Warriors

    Spend the morning visiting the enigmatic ranks of the life-like warriors and horses of the Terracotta Army, standing in their original formations at the exact location they were excavated. Later, take a stroll on the 14th century city wall that enclose Xian's old town and wander through the lively Muslim Quarter to explore the Islamic food markets. This evening enjoy a performance of Tang Dynasty dancing.
