This extension is suitable for those who wish to visit the beautiful garden cities of Suzhou and Hangzhou. This morning you will be met at your Shanghai hotel and transferred to Suzhou. Also known as the 'Venice of the East', Suzhou is a town famous for its plethora of traditional landscaped gardens.
Visit the Master of the Nets Garden and visit its inner sanctum with its 'master's study' of Ming-style furnishings and architecture. Wander around the Lingering Garden, best known for its exquisite architectural art, before cruising along a section of the Grand Canal. (B,L)
Travel to Hangzhou which is renowned for its beautiful natural scenery. Stroll through the local markets and experience oriental tea-tasting. (B,L)
Visit the Temple of Inspired Seclusion, the largest temple in southern China and the Six Harmonies Pagoda before enjoying a relaxing cruise on the tranquil West Lake. (B,L)
